About us

Our story
While working at Anglo American, a global mining company, Steve was Head of Strategy, while they were working on traceability of metals used in battery's, starting at the very beginning of the value chain. Fast forward to ESPR being signed into law and turn 180 degrees to look at the value chain from the consumer point of view, Pathway Digital Products was formed to offer solutions to companies that need Digital Product Passports for compliance and also brand differentiation.
Our history
While mentoring the Apprenticeship programme at AstraZeneca, a global pharmaceutical company, Steve met Mark, our CTO, while he was studying to get his degree and masters in AI Engineering, and Tara, our CRO, who was an ex-colleague, returned as a critical vendor.
It has been these long standing relationships that, when Pathway Digital Products was formed, led to the team being formed.

Steve has a diverse and impactful career spanning over two decades, with leadership roles in blockchain strategy, enterprise data, and innovation within multinational organizations.
At Anglo American he defined and executed the company's first blockchain strategy, focusing on market access, revenue growth, and ethical supply chain traceability through innovations like ValuTrax™.
At AstraZeneca, he led large-scale transformation projects, such as the Snowflake replacement, driving multi-million-dollar cost savings while championing AI/ML tools.
Mark Porter
Chief Technology Officer
Mark is an AI Platform Engineer with extensive experience architecting scalable platforms and optimizing AI solutions, for over 250 concurrent data science projects. He has demonstrated leadership in fostering engineering best practices, driving automation, and integrating cutting-edge tools to accelerate deployment and improve operational efficiency.
